COMPANY HISTORYEagle Instruments, Inc., has been in business at the same location in Port Chester, NY, since 1969. The company supplies machined parts and sub-assemblies to commercial and military customers.
Under the active management of the present owners since 1984, Eagle Instruments has extended its reputation as a proven vendor of quality products and services beyond the Westchester County area, to customer locations as far away as Utah and California.
PHILOSOPHYEagle Instruments will always work to improve our performance, and to increase the benefits to our customers of doing business with us.
Some of the in-house programs already in place to help us achieve these ends are:
- Statistical Process Control (SPC), to insure that quality is in the product, and not in the inspection.
- Just in Time (JIT), to insure the deliveries are made to forecasted requirements, as amended to allow for fluctuations.
- Quality Improvement Process (QIP), to insure that free and open communications and ethical business standards are maintained, including sharing knowledge of manufacturing techniques, technical information, and other expertise, for our mutual benefit.
- ISO currently compliant to our customer specification’s working on 9002 approval.
- Valued Managed Relationship (VRM), to formalize a cooperative (possibly confidential) business relationship, with key elements being cost control in both manufacturing operations and administrative overhead.
